Nigeria’s (9 points) closest rivals in Group C, Cape Verde (7 points) are in action at the same time facing Central African Republic with the island nation set to travel to Nigeria for a potential ‘winner takes all’ showdown at the Teslim Balogun Stadium next Tuesday, but this very much depend on the scorelines come Saturday evening after the penultimate round of matches.
The World Cup 2022 qualifying game between Liberia and Nigeria will be staged at the Stade Ibn Batouta in Tanger (Morocco) on 13 November with a kick-off time of 17:00 CET (11:00 ET).
