The General Overseer of Christ Royal Church, Bishop Tom Samson, has said the country will overcome the crises being faced currently, saying God has been faithful to the county despite the challenges.
Samson, at a briefing organised on Thursday in Lagos to unveil activities for the 30th anniversary of the church, said God still had a plan for Nigeria.
He said, “No matter the challenges we’ve had in this country, God has been faithful to us. God has been good to this nation, despite all the challenges. He is never tired of this nation; at a point, it could look as if the whole thing will crumble, but God is a master player, he will hear the cry of the saints. There are crises, but God silent them. I know that God has Nigeria in his plan.”
The cleric noted that the church’s 30th anniversary, themed, ‘Behold I will do a new thing,’ would hold between December 5 and 12.

“God gave me the mandate to set the captives free and teach them how to reign over life’s circumstances. This was a vision I had as a young undergraduate at the then Bendel State University, Ekpoma and then Abraka in 1985 and 1986 respectively.

“The campus fellowship that metamorphosed into the Christ Royal Family of today saw me moving from villages across Delta and Edo States to various campuses to deliver the oppressed from the shackles of satanic bondages,” Samson said.
