Places in Nigeria you should travel to this festive season. – Nwankwo, Grace Chinasa

Being on a tour to a new place comes with a lot of expectations, anxiety and excitement especially when you’re going for “fun/relaxation” purpose.

In Nigeria, there are a few places you shouldn’t miss this festive season:

Yankari Game Reserve
A home to the remaining  Elephants and Lions in Nigeria. Monkeys, Zebra and other animals can also be found there. This place has fascinating natural water spring as well as wide variety of flora.
It is under the management of Bauchi State Government.

Obudu Mountain Resort, Obudu, Cross River state.
It’s interesting to find one of the best cable car ride in Obudu resort. The entrance’s gate has a big cow head which signifies the “cattle” ranch it used to be known for.
It’s an exciting place to behold, with serene environment and other amazing things you would want to experience for yourself.

Calabar Carnival festival, Cross River
This carnival is also known as “Africa’s Biggest Street Party” or the “Pride of Nigeria”, it is an annual carnival in Cross River State, South-Eastern part of Nigeria. The carnival is held every December from 1st to 31st. It marks Christmas celebration and its vision  is to continually make Cross-River a home of tourism and hospitality in Nigeria and Africa.

Here, you will find men and women dressed in different styles with captivating colours…some look like feathers with the colour of rainbow. It’s nice to watch and merry there.

Do well to visit and share your experience with us, here, soon.
