Basics To Learn When Boarding A Plane For The First Time. – Nwankwo, Grace Chinasa.

Most persons find it challenging comporting themselves in a flight, their first time we must agree. Irrespective of this, there are a few basics you must know while boarding a flight for THE FIRST TIME.

1. Ask questions: When you find things that are not clear enough, ask questions. Don’t be ashamed. Ask the airport officials, ask other passengers, ask basically anyone there so you don’t get lost. Don’t forget to also use your google.

2. Watch people: One of those ways you would learn how things are done at the airport is to “watch” how things are done. Watch how people move from one section to the other, from the search/checking to everything other sections. Watch and follow what people do, if you make mistakes, you’ll certainly be corrected.

3. Never collect luggage (bags, leather or whatever) from anyone in the name of help. Things have gone sour now, you don’t trust the next person after you. People smuggle illegal drugs in bags and would want to implicate others. They would want you to help them hold the bag that contains drugs…what if you’re caught? Who would believe the bag does not belong to you? Be careful out there please.

4. Wear easy clothes and shoes for stress free security checks.

5. Have your important stuff which includes phone, documents and others in your hand luggage.

6. Some people experience temporal ear blockage due to air pressure. Do not panic as this have remedies which includes: use of nasal spray both before you board and 45 minutes prior to landing,  wear earplugs to relieve air pressure mid-flight, chew gum, yawn, and lick other menthol mint Candy.

I hope you find these helpful?
