World Cup: Ghana Black Stars Has Qualified For Qatar 2022 World Cup Against Nigeria’s Super Eagle

The Super Eagles of Nigeria has failed to qualify for the 2022 World Cup after drawing Ghana 1-1 on Tuesday, 29th March 2022.

Ghana Black Stars qualified for Qatar 2022 World Cup with Thomas Partey early goal against Nigeria.

Nigeria Super Eagles and Ghana Black Stars battled for the second leg of World Cup play-off in Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja on Tuesday night.

This was after a 0-0 draw in Kumasi on Friday.

Ghana qualified on an away goal advantage.

If Super Eagle had won, it would have been the country’s fourth successive appearance at the global tournament.

William Troost-Ekong, levelled from a 22nd-minute penalty, Nigeria failed to score again. The first leg ended goalless.

The Black Stars of Ghana are back in the World Cup finals after qualifying in 2006, 2010 and 2014, but missing out four years ago.
