Nigerian singer and rapper, Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, visited the United Nations Headquarters in New York, ahead of his sold-out show at Madison Square Garden, in New York City, United States.
Burna Boy met with the UN Deputy Secretary-General, Amina J. Mohammed, during the visit.
Amina shared a picture of his visit on her Twitter page on Thursday, April 28, 2022.
“I had the opportunity to welcome my compatriot @burnaboy here at the @UN HQ. Burna continues to inspire young people around the world with his amazing talents,” she wrote.
The singer also shared clips of his visit via his Instagram story.
Burna Boy is the first African artiste to sell out the popular event centre in New York. Punch reports.
